Zendaya opens up about filming steamy scenes with intimacy coach in new film

Zendaya has shared insights into filming intimate scenes on set for her new movie. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress praised the presence of an intimacy co-ordinator during the filming of Challengers, emphasizing the importance of feeling safe and comfortable during such moments.

She also highlighted the efforts made by herself and her co-stars to bond and establish a sense of ease with each other off-camera. Activities such as playing tennis together, going out, and rehearsing helped create a supportive environment on set.

In the upcoming film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, Zendaya portrays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis player turned coach who becomes entangled in a love triangle with two other athletes, portrayed by Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.

Faist echoed Zendaya's sentiments about the importance of bonding off set, emphasizing the value of forming genuine friendships that laid the foundation for their on-screen chemistry.

The movie's premise delves into themes of redemption, competition, and past relationships, promising an intriguing narrative centered around Tashi's dynamic with her husband and former flame.
