Alabama School Dinner Lady Brought Student to Family Home for Sexual Encounters
Amy Nicole Wiggington, a 41-year-old married school dinner lady, has confessed to taking a teenage student to her home for sexual encounters on two separate occasions. The incidents reportedly took place on March 7 and March 31 in Rogersville, Alabama, where Wiggington allegedly engaged in sexual acts with the student.
Wiggington's admission came during her arrest earlier this week, as detailed in court records reviewed by local news outlet WAAY TV. While the age of the student involved has not been disclosed, it is noteworthy that Wiggington has not been charged with child abuse. This suggests that the student is likely above the age of consent in Alabama, which is set at 16 years old. However, she has been charged with two counts of a school employee engaging in a sex act.

The Lauderdale County Schools system, which includes four middle schools, seven elementary schools, and four high schools, has responded to the allegations. A spokesperson for the school district stated, “The Lauderdale County Board of Education is aware of the allegations, and the employee has been placed on administrative leave. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials and have no further comment on this matter.”
Currently, Wiggington is being held at Lauderdale County Jail following her arrest last week. She faces a significant bond of $100,000 for her release before her court appearance.

This incident is not isolated, as another case involving a teacher has also emerged. Earlier this week, footage surfaced of Christina Formella, a 30-year-old special education teacher from Illinois, being arrested in front of her husband for the alleged rape of a teenage student. The arrest occurred on March 16, and during the incident, Formella was heard sobbing and asking for her husband while in the back seat of a police vehicle.
Formella expressed her distress, stating, "I feel like I’m gonna throw up," prompting officers to quickly provide her with a bag in case she became ill. The allegations against her stem from accusations that she sexually abused a 15-year-old student whom she had tutored and coached in football two years prior.
Reports indicate that the two exchanged text messages that explicitly discussed their feelings for each other and the sexual encounters they had in a school classroom. One message allegedly read, "I love you sooooo much baby... Even though this morning was short, it was perfect," highlighting the inappropriate nature of their relationship.

The incriminating texts came to light just days before Formella's arrest when the boy's mother was setting up a new phone for him. This led to the boy's confession about the alleged affair, which he claimed to have ended, prompting his mother to report the situation to authorities.
Formella's arrest unfolded in a bewildering manner when police stopped her car in the Chicago suburbs. With her husband present, she faced confusion as officers instructed her to exit the vehicle, marking a dramatic turn in her life.
