“I’m eager to shed this midlife crisis look,” George remarked during an interview with Seth Meyers. “The last show is Sunday. We do a matinee, and by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it’ll be gone.” His candidness about the dye job was evident as he described it: “It’s bad. It’s still dark on top, but gray at the bottom. It looks like I’m going through some horrible midlife crisis.”
