On July 12, Mississippi rapper and producer Big K.R.I.T. released his fourth studio album, ‘K.R.I.T. IZ HERE.’ The 19-track project serves as a sequel to his 2010 mixtape, ‘K.R.I.T. Wuz Here,’ and features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Saweetie, and more. On the latest episode of ‘For The Record,’ K.R.I.T. sat down with Genius’ Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman and discussed the meaning behind his “K.R.I.T. Here” video, shared advice he received from J. Cole back in 2012, and revealed that the late Nipsey Hussle was supposed to be on the album.
