Diddy Dangled Cassie's Friend Over 17th-Floor Balcony, Yelling ‘You Know What You Did,’ and Threw Knife at Then-Girlfriend, Testimony Claims
Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly displayed violent behavior towards his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and her friends, according to testimony presented in a Manhattan federal court. Witness Bryana “Bana” Bongolan recounted chilling incidents that unfolded during Combs' high-profile trial concerning sex trafficking and racketeering.

Bongolan described a harrowing encounter where Combs, furious, dangled her over a seventh-floor balcony while shouting, “You know what the f**k you did.” This incident occurred while she was staying at Ventura’s Los Angeles apartment. Bongolan, who is five-foot-one and weighs 100 pounds, testified that Combs followed her onto the balcony after she asked him to leave.

“He basically came up from behind me,” she recalled, detailing how he lifted her off the ground and held her over the railing for about 10 to 15 seconds. The fear was palpable as she recounted being thrown onto the balcony furniture afterward. Jurors were shown images of the balcony and a bruise on Bongolan’s leg, which she sustained during the September 2016 incident.

In another alarming episode, Bongolan recounted a moment when Combs threw a knife at Ventura. She described waking up to find an “upset” Combs in the apartment. He brandished a knife, pointed it at Ventura, and then hurled it in her direction. “It came pretty close,” Bongolan testified, noting that while it didn’t hit Ventura, it underscored the couple's “volatile” relationship.

Combs reportedly left the scene quickly after the incident. Bongolan also shared a frightening encounter during a photoshoot in Malibu, where Combs approached her menacingly, claiming, “I’m the devil and I could kill you.” She expressed confusion over his threat and uncertainty about whether he was under the influence of drugs at the time. “I was terrified,” she admitted, revealing that she was on cocaine during that encounter.

Combs and Ventura's tumultuous relationship lasted nearly a decade before their breakup in 2018. Ventura previously testified for four days about her experiences with Combs, including allegations of rape following their separation. The 55-year-old music mogul faces serious charges for allegedly exploiting his fame and wealth to manipulate Ventura into participating in drug-fueled sexual encounters over many years. He has pleaded not guilty and could face life in prison if convicted.
