Homestead Man Arrested After Attempting to Bribe Officers With $20 Following Parking Lot Incident
HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Adan Jacinto-Domingo, 34, found himself in a precarious situation over the weekend when he collided with another vehicle in a motel parking lot and subsequently attempted to bribe responding officers with a $20 bill.
The incident unfolded Sunday at the Nexx motel, located at 841 N. Krome Ave., where police received reports of a vehicle striking others in the parking area. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jacinto-Domingo behind the wheel of a blue GMC Arcadia, parked directly behind another car.

As officers approached, they noticed an open Corona bottle in the center console, still glistening with condensation. Observations of Jacinto-Domingo revealed “very red bloodshot and glassy eyes,” accompanied by a strong odor of sweat, urine, and alcohol.
When instructed to put the SUV in park, Jacinto-Domingo instead turned the key to the off position while the vehicle remained in drive, causing it to roll slightly. An officer intervened, reaching into the vehicle to secure it before ordering him to exit.
Struggling for balance, Jacinto-Domingo leaned on the door as he stepped out. When asked for his driver’s license, he hesitated and attempted to offer a $20 bribe to two officers present. The situation escalated as he began acting erratically, even attempting to grab one officer’s vest, leading to his handcuffing despite resistance.

In an effort to subdue him, one officer deployed her Taser before redirecting him to the ground. Although Jacinto-Domingo agreed to a field sobriety test, he laughed throughout the assessment, ultimately failing.
As officers attempted to guide him toward a bench, he slapped one officer’s wrist and threatened to shoot her in the face during the booking process. Due to his condition, officers transported him to Homestead Hospital for medical clearance prior to jail booking.
The owner of the vehicle that Jacinto-Domingo allegedly struck chose not to file a report, citing only minor damage. He now faces multiple charges including battery on a police officer, conspiracy to commit bribery, assault on a police officer, resisting an officer without violence, disorderly conduct, DUI, and driving without a valid license.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Jacinto-Domingo was no longer listed in the online jail database.
