How Kim And Kanye's Split Went From Good To Ugly

Kim and Kanye’s divorce already seemed like it was dragging on, but now it’s starting to get messy and drama-filled. When Kim filed for divorce from Kanye (“Ye”) back in February of 2021, we knew there’d be at least some drama involved. But this is turning into something else entirely, especially with Kanye’s public claims and complaints about Kim. In January of 2022, Ye did a rare interview with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked and spent a good 44 minutes airing out all of his grievances about Kim and their co-parenting situation, the media and everything in between. And in this interview, he made a lot of claims that have been adding more drama to the already messy situation that is their divorce process. He claimed that Kim’s security won’t let him see his four children that he shares with her. But then Kim claimed that he knew he coudln’t just walk in the house without permission ever since he left and signed over the house to her. He also claimed that Kim allowing North to be on Tik Tok with her was a way for her to use the kids to antagonize him. And while we’re sure there’s probably a valid reason for him not wanting North on social media without his approval, that seems like a conversation that should’ve been had privately. Not to mention that this man literally bought a house that he spend hundreds of thousands of dollars over the asking price for just so he could be right across the street from Kim’s house. We totally get wanting to be closer to the kids, for sure. But that also seems just a bit… much. And all that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
