'Human Doll' Responds To Her Meanest Trolls | HOOKED ON THE LOOK

TOSHI Salvino, from Texas, has been dressing as a ‘living art doll’ since she was nine years old. She explained to Truly that she has "always been fascinated by dolls." In this episode, she reacts to some of the harshest comments that people have left her across her social media platforms. One person commented on her extreme look, noting that "I feel like if schools don't allow those simple things like lipstick, then this is what happens when they are older." In response, Toshi said: "I absolutely love that one, because it's like, don't crush your child's dreams because otherwise they explode, so although they are trying to be mean I actually love it and I find joy in that sentence." Despite some of the negative comments she receives, Toshi stands firm in her decision to express herself through the way she presents herself in public."I've started to identify as a performance artist because my performance is life." Adding that, "life is a stage, and people are your audience."
