According to distributor Trafalgar Releasing, pre-premiere ticketing for the film topped 940,000 sales worldwide. The extraordinary pre-release sales are even more outstanding considering that 'Burn the Stage: The Movie' features material already released through the YouTube Red series of the same name, which premiered its first episode on March 28 and released its eighth and final episode on May 9.
