'Captain Marvel's' Pinar Toprak On Being the First Woman to Compose for the MCU

Pinar Toprak shares her feelings on being the first female composer to work on a movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I just dropped to the floor," Toprak said. The big comic book fan was elated she was able to compose the music for "Captain Marvel." "I think of myself when I was growing up in Turkey, I had Superman to look up to. My whole world was Superman, I loved the score, I loved the film. So now I'm thinking back, in Turkey or some other part of the world, there's a little girl or any gender, any race, any religion looking up and there's a really incredible, awesome female superhero to look up to.
