So much has happened in music throughout the 2010s that even a list of 100 albums can’t cover it all. To help sort through it all, the Genius community banded together to create our list of The 100 Best Albums of 2010s. The list covers all genres and sorts of projects (in the 2020s can we please stop pretending like mixtapes aren’t albums?) so long as they were released between January 1, 2010 and today. This list took months of planning. The Genius community spent months mulling over the albums we selected before spending weeks debating the ranking of the list. The final product isn’t just a list of albums, but a worldview presented by the Genius community that takes into account all the ways music has touched our lives over the past 10 years.
