A FORMER boyband star is now unrecognisable after extreme plastic surgery. Songwriter, Ian Starr Kalatzis, 36, grew up in the spotlight with his first paid job at the age of five. In 2002, Ian, from Brisbane Australia, joined the boyband “Boystar” hitting the charts with a cover of Billy Ocean’s “Loverboy”. But after leaving the boyband to explore a solo career, Ian found it difficult to obtain work. He told Barcroft TV: “I suddenly wasn’t flavour of the month.” Ian turned to plastic surgery for a re-invention with many doors suddenly opening up for him. Now that he’s nearing his 40s, Ian wants to make sure his winning look is well taken care of.
