The search for Maeve and Gideon Kennedy is sadly over. Robert F. Kennedy's granddaughter Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean, 40, and her 8-year-old son Gideon “have passed away,” Maeve's husband David McKean confirmed in a heartbreaking post on Facebook. The mother and son were reported missing on April 2 after they failed to return from a ride in a canoe on the Chesapeake Bay.
