Daveed Diggs On The Emotional Toll of Filming 'Snowpiercer' Stunts And The 'Hamilton' Movie
May 19 2020
Daveed Diggs chats with Variety live after the premiere of his new "Snowpiercer" series. The actor and musician dives deep into why he wanted to join this project and how this futuristic series is incredibly relevant for modern times. His character Andre Layton is, "someone who understands the currency of information as it relates to the potential for revolution and cautious with everyone's life but his own." These details about the detective from Chicago remained center stage despite the series multiple iterations before finally landing on what was aired in the premiere. In other news Diggs had to stomach 10 grilled sandwiches and bowls of soup while filming and can't bring himself to eat another sandwich after filming the pilot of TNT's "Snowpiercer."
