And in fact, his budding acting career was one of the reasons that his parents relocated their family to Los Angeles. Besides balancing a career and kindergarten, Mowry lived a pretty normal childhood. When he wasn't working, his parents enrolled him in school rather than homeschooling him. Because of this, he had no clue until later in life that his job was making him a serious salary.
