Bravo's Don't Be Tardy, which follows Real Housewives of Atlanta breakout Kim Zolciak and her lovably nutty family, has been going strong for seven seasons, with no signs of slowing down. When the show first premiered all the way back in 2012, Zolciak's partner in crime, hunky husband Kroy Biermann, was still a major player in the NFL. Similar to Kristin Cavallari, who has detailed on her own reality show Very Cavallari the struggles of following her husband Jay Cutler's pro football career, Biermann also took a step back to focus on family instead. So, what is the former NFL player up to now that he's no longer in the game? According to a 2017 interview with Bravo's Daily Dish, Biermann left the pros in 2016 so he could be more hands-on with raising the couple's children. The Housewives alum, for one, was thrilled to have her hubby around more often. Zolciak described the ex-NFL star as a "super big help," admitting the kids actually listen to their father more than her. Biermann is no slouch around the house, either. Zolciak revealed, "He definitely enjoys being home, but he loves football. That’s where his heart is. We’ll see what happens. The guy can do anything, seriously. He can sew, he can cook, he can make a wig. He can do anything, I’m serious. If the toilet’s broke, if my nail breaks, if Ariana’s bracket on her braces is popping out, he can do anything." He may be done with football, but Zolciak says her man won't have any trouble finding another passion. In fact, Biermann even has some legitimate options if he wants to change careers: he studied criminology and psychology at the University of Montana and even toyed with becoming a Navy Seal before his NFL career took off. The former football star admitted to Daily Dish that he has struggled to, quote, "find a different outlet." However, he doesn't intend to settle for just anything that comes along, explaining in 2017, "I've continued to stay in shape. I've continued to work out. I've continued to be kind of quote, unquote 'ready.' The opportunity has to present itself that I want and enjoy. If not, I have a plethora of options and I've kind of started to go down those roads. They're nothing that are too serious." As of the making of this video, we know that Biermann is still the unofficial PR guy for Zolciak, taking to Instagram predominantly to promote her podcast, House of Kim, or gush over their enduring love. Biermann continues to be his wife's biggest supporter and cheerleader. In fact, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, he even became Zolciak's personal hairdresser. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Don't Be Tardy star revealed her hubby is helping her to stay looking glamorous even while they're in lockdown. Although Biermann is happy to pitch in where needed, Zolciak admitted that he's not just doing her roots because she can't make it to the hairdresser. The loved-up couple have been using their time in quarantine to reconnect with their kids and each other in equal measure. Aside from posing for romantic photos together, Biermann showed just how much he still fancies his wife by covering their massive garage with sexy pics of her, to celebrate the Real Housewives alum's 40th birthday. As Bravo reported, Zolciak shared an Instagram Story during which she strolled around the space with all of the photos on full display. Among the shots of Zolciak looking impossibly gorgeous, there were also keepsakes from her birthday celebrations. For her special day this year, the proud mama shared with Instagram followers that she'd been treated to a romantic meal by Biermann, including a sweet photo of the two of them looking super-happy together, as always.
