My Addiction Left Me Unable to Walk - But Look At Me Now | BRAND NEW ME

Jul 22 2020
ADDICTION led to Lee fighting for his life in hospital. After his mum tragically passed away in 2011 he set off on a downward spiral of alcohol and drug addiction. The 28-year-old’s turning point came when he dropped to just over 130lbs, was unable to walk and doctors told him he was lucky to be alive. With the help of exercise, Lee has been sober for over 16 months now. His twin brother Adam also struggled with addiction but has been sober for five months and together the brothers are helping others in recovery through their Instagram page @sobertwins_life and their Zen Monkey Clothing range. Lee told Truly: “We’ve never been stronger than we are now. It’s great and our mum would be proud of us.”
