Ja Rule Reacts To New Melodic Rappers (Don Toliver, The Kid LAROI, Lunay) | The Cosign
Aug 25 2020
Before crooning rappers like Drake, Young Thug, or Future came to fame, Ja Rule made a name for himself by blurring the line between singing and rapping. Throughout the early 2000s, the rapper dropped gems like “Mesmerize” with Ashanti and the “I’m Real (Murder Remix)” with Jennifer Lopez, which showcased Ja’s melodic flow. On the newest episode of 'The Cosign,' Ja Rule reviewed music videos from some of today’s melodic rappers that he paved the way for with his music. From Don Toliver’s “After Party” to The Kid LAROI’s “I Wish” to Lil Mosey and Lunay’s collaboration “Top Gone,” Ja shared his honest opinion on each new rapper.
