The MTV Video Music Awards celebrate the best of the best when it comes to music videos. While the Coronavirus pandemic necessitated an unusual location for the award show, that didn't stop celebrities from donning some stunning, and some not-so-stunning, outfits. Nicole Richie assembled a 2020 VMAs red carpet look that included an intense spiked headband and understated makeup. The combination of the two seemed to contradict each other, but what landed her on the worst-dressed list is that dress. Although it appeared to have a slightly olive tinge to it when checking it out from some angles, Us Weekly declared that it was, quote, "a lime green Cong Tri minidress." Whatever color it truly was, viewers weren't impressed. During a pre-show interview, Richie didn't exactly sell the look when she took a cheeky approach to describing it. She said, "I wanted to wear green because my album is all about organic vegetables."
