Zendaya On Making History As The Youngest Actor To Win An Emmy for Lead Actress

Zendaya took home Emmy gold for her role on HBO's "Euphoria." The actresses zoomed in backstage (aka remote from another location) to talk about her recent win and what this historical win means to her. The actor said her whole family was there to celebrate with her which made her feel a "wrapping of love." Zendaya continued on the importance of "Euphoria" and how it showcase a Black girl who gets to screw up, "She is a full, whole human being and she's layered and she's complicated." She continued stating that Rue also helped people find clarity not only through representation but with the complicated issues of addiction.
