It's No Secret That Zendaya Was Destined To Break Out Of Disney And Become An A-List Star Zendaya recently made history as the youngest actress to ever win an Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series. THe young star has already had a successful career - in part thanks to her beginnings as a Disney Channel Princess. At thirteen, Zendaya began her career on Disney’s Shake it Up, soon moving on to release a Disney music album and star in a few more network series and films. After turning eighteen Zendaya branched out into the Marvel universe, starring in Spider-Man. She also created a clothing line and even worked with Beyonce. But when Disney asked Zendaya to come back for the series K.C. Undercover, the outspoken star wanted to play by her own rules. Zendaya worked on the project as a producer, ensuring that her character and the show represented young girls in a positive way.
