The world had not yet been introduced to reality TV as we know it. Paris Hilton and her then best friend, Nicole Ritchie, popped up on our television screens with The Simple Life, where audiences could watch the two wealthy socialites perform real everyday jobs, like cleaning, farm work and being camp counsellors! There was someone who made regular guest appearances on the show, her name was Kim Kardashian. Kardashian was Hilton’s organizer and personal shopper, and would pop up on the show helping Hilton with tasks and organization. From here her career would take off, with a few bumps along the way when it came to the relationship she had with Hilton. In 2007 The Simple Life came to an end, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians was born. The show would end up being the launch pad for several careers, brands and businesses for Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kris Kardashian; and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
