Melania Trump grabbed the attention of the American public upon becoming First Lady in 2016. And something people soon wanted to know was the secret to her trim figure. The answer? Her diet. Here's what Melania Trump typically eats in a day.
They say that a good day starts with a good breakfast. In 2012, Melania revealed that her day typically starts with a smoothie. She told Refinery29,
"Well, in the morning, every morning, I have a smoothie with a few ingredients and a lot of vitamins in it."
Her go-to smoothie is clearly something she has stuck to, as she shared the recipe with her followers on Facebook in 2013, after receiving requests for it. She told her fans,
"Mix all fresh and organic: spinach, celery, carrots, blueberries, apple, orange juice, lemon juice, fat free yogurt, olive oil, [flax] seeds, omega-3, vitamin D."
Though her smoothie recipe seems to be her favorite way to start the day, Melania does change up her breakfast from time to time. In 2014, she shared a breakfast plate of pineapple, banana, raspberries, and blueberries on Facebook, and she'd previously told Refinery29 that sometimes she will opt for oatmeal. And despite her busy schedule, Trump told New York magazine that, in 2010, at least, she prepared her own meals every morning.
