But in 2016, her reaction to the election results was quite clear, if one tell-all book is to be believed. Journalist Michael Wolff alleged in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, "[In 2016] Melania was in tears – and not of joy." An insider told the Daily Mail, in fact, that Melania never really expected Trump to win in 2016. So this time around, the 50-year-old Slovenian American ex-model may have actually cried tears of relief. What's next for Donald and Melania? OK! magazine claims that President Trump's post-presidency plans include a permanent move to Mar-a-Lago, but it is unclear where Melania will be living. Inside sources claim the FLOTUS is looking forward to heading back to New York. An insider told Naughty But Nice podcast host Rob Shuter, "For the past four years Melania has missed her life in New York. She loves the city and the lifestyle she used to have and cannot wait to get it back at Trump Tower. She basically put her life on hold to be with her husband in D.C."
