Ivanka And Jared's School Choice For Their Kids Is Causing A Stir

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are already planning for life after Washington, D.C. having reportedly bought a lot for $30 million on Indian Creek Island in Miami-Dade county, Florida, on the north side of Biscayne bay known colloquially as "Miami's Billionaire Bunker," per the Miami Herald. The outlet reported that the place is full of rich Republicans, from hedge fund managers to the founder of a blood donation company. Basically, they'll fit right in, and according to Page Six, all of the neighbors are wondering where they are going to send their three kids to school. Of course, it's unclear if the couple will move directly down there after the inauguration in January 2021, especially because Ivanka and Jared are reportedly building a house from scratch. It's not likely that they'll be sending their kids to school right away in Florida, but then again, one never knows. And it certainly is fun to speculate if you're a wealthy Miami family with a brood why wouldn't you want your kids to pal around with the Trump-Kushner kids? Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are currently renting a home in the Kalorama neighborhood of D.C. and they have other properties in New Jersey and New York between them. But the Indian Creek lot, which they bought from Julio Iglesias, was the winner. And the locals are, quote, "losing their minds," per a Page Six report. One parent told the outlet they got tons of texts once the paper broke the news that the couple was headed to the Sunshine State. Whew! It sounds like everyone down there can't wait to see if they'll get to meet Ivanka at the next PTA meeting. Then again, if coronavirus lockdowns continue, it might not matter where the three kiddos are enrolled. One thing is for sure, though. Although they still have businesses, family, and property in New York City, it's not likely that they're planning on re-entering the social scene there. CNN reported that many of New York's elite aren't planning on welcoming Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner back into their small circles and the couple also faces legal issues in the state, where they are each being sued. Resting in Florida or spending more time at their New Jersey home just sounds a whole lot calmer, even if the locals are already gossiping about their children's schooling. It has been reported that Donald and Melania Trump will also retire to their Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, once they leave Washington, D.C., and that moment can't come soon enough, per another CNN report. There seems to be conflicting info as to whether the Trumps can legally live there, but regardless it seems that Melania certainly wants to. And although the Mar-a-Lago home is tinier than the White House residence or her former penthouses in Manhattan, Melania reportedly feels comfortable at the resort, and having the members around on the premises should be good for the president's ego. So the whole family will be starting new chapters down south. It's unclear exactly what Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner plan on doing after leaving Washington, D.C. It's been reported by CNN that both of them might have political ambitions, which would explain why Ivanka has reportedly counseled her father to concede the election, although Jared is reportedly on the team that is unsuccessfully challenging election results on Trump's behalf. Whatever Ivanka and Jared decide to do after President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration, they will at least have a massive waterfront property to look forward to living in. And a whole new batch of neighbors watching their every move. #IvankaTrump #JaredKushner
