E! host Giuliana Rancic is as well-known for her entertainment news coverage as she is for her own glamorous life. But the TV personality has experienced her fair share of adversity. From adjusting to life in America, to her battle with cancer, here's why all eyes are on Giuliana Rancic.
Rancic immigrated from Italy to Maryland with her family, when she was in elementary school. At the time, the star says she couldn't speak English, telling The Everygirl,
"I actually ended up learning English by watching television. I used to sit and watch the local news every night and that is how I taught myself. It's also the reason behind my dream of becoming a television host."
Instead of settling down after she earned her journalism degree from the University of Maryland, Rancic went on to pursue a masters at American University.
