Inside Don Jr. And Kimberly Guilfoyle's Ridiculously Luxurious Life
Dec 22 2020
Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle make quite the interesting couple. After all, Guilfoyle used to be married to Democrat politician Gavin Newsom, who would later on become California's governor.
But after a very high-profile divorce, and then another divorce from businessman Eric Villency, she suddenly found herself in the arms of none other than the president of the United States' oldest son, Don Jr. Oh, and she's also worked for his dad as a top campaign aide. So there's that.
While many consider the duo to be a power couple, others simply see them as a couple who lives a very lavish lifestyle, who spent time in the spotlight tirelessly working to help Guilfoyle's boss and Trump Jr.'s father, President Donald Trump, get re-elected. Spoiler alert: Their efforts proved to be in vain.
So, how does the couple spend their leisure time now that the campaign is over? And more importantly — how do they spend all of their cash, including their combined net worth of more than $300 million? The answer can be summed up in: Planes, trains, and automobiles. Or maybe just planes — private planes, that is.
As reported by the New York Times, Kimberly Guilfoyle made flying private a staple of her career while serving as a senior advisor to the Trump campaign. Many donors and campaign aides grew concerned about the amount of private plane use Guilfoyle racked up.
It's reported that, by January of 2020, the campaign had to devise a system strictly to approve such flying trips so they could comply with campaign finance laws. But don't worry — when a private plane is not available, she always has the option of Air Force One at her disposal. That's apparently just one of the perks of dating the president's son.
But that's not all. Politico also reported Guilfoyle utilized a private plane to whisk her home to New York from South Dakota following President Donald Trump's pre-Independence Day address at Mount Rushmore. Sometime after the event, she contracted COVID-19. Meanwhile, her junior staffers were forced to quarantine in South Dakota due to their potential exposure.
Another perk of the couple's glitzy lifestyle is their summer home in the Hamptons. As reported by the New York Post in July of 2019, the couple plunked down a cool $4.4 million for their very own quintessential Bridgehampton beach mansion, complete with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, 9,200 square feet, and access to a whopping 25-acre kettle fishing pond.
But that's not all. The sprawling estate also includes nearly four acres of land, a heated pool with a waterfall, a spa, a screened-in patio, a gun room for Trump Jr., and plenty of room for future tennis courts. There's still no word, however, as to whether or not Trump Jr.'s real estate mogul father, Donald Trump, approved of his son's real estate purchase.
While Kimberly Guilfoyle is passionate about politics, it appears there's something else she's passionate about: clothes. In 2017, Guilfoyle confessed to Us Weekly that she owned hundreds of pairs of shoes. She went on to reveal to the magazine:
"So one of the big questions that I get asked all the time and I'm like terrified to answer: 'How many pairs of shoes do you have?' Really good question."
Guilfoyle ultimately admitted to owning an eye-popping estimate of about 500 pairs. And it appears she didn't skimp on a place to put all of her shoes, showcasing her closet outfitted with floor-to-ceiling shelves — housing not only her many pairs of designer shoes, but also expensive handbags and fine jewelry. In the same interview with Us Weekly, Guilfoyle confessed:
"Every girl knows you can never have enough closet space. And in New York City, it's like you need a magic wand to figure it out. [...] I tried to make sure to maximize every inch of space."
But when tasked with storing 500 pairs of shoes we guess you have no choice but to utilize every square inch of closet space. A woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do!
