Despite the annual Kardashian holiday gathering being cancelled for the first time since the 1978, Kim got into a festive spirit in a green Schiaparelli number. The look, which debuted on Kim’s Instagram, gave fans a sneak-peak into custom couture gown making, and a preview of the Italian label’s upcoming couture jewelry. This all green look had Kim affectionately dubbing herself “The Grinch” this Christmas season, but many fans saw her look as more Halloween-inspired than Christmas worthy. As usual, Kim’s photo tagged a team of designers and glamour artists that helped her achieve her festively snatched-waist look. The star had Schiaparelli to thank for her gown and jewelry. The brand’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, designed Kim’s custom couture. To achieve her look, tanning artist Isabel Alysa gave Kim the VIP treatment, followed by Rokeal Beauty giving the star a “bronzed and glowy look”. Hair artist Chris Appleton created Kim’s iconically long, slick braid, and designer Amina Muaddi is to thank for the Kardashian’s stunning transparent slingback heels. Kim’s custom couture drew the attention of Twitter and Instagram alike, with mixed reactions. Besides the Hulk and the Ninja Turtles, Kim’s look was compared to a gummy bear, waist trainers, and a host of Halloween costumes. “Merry Hulkmas!” fans wrote on her Instagram post. Even Kim’s large earrings weren’t safe, with many comparing them to the eggplant emoji. All jokes aside, many fell in love with Kim’s holiday look.
