Rita Moreno says she had to make her own role models while growing up: "My role model probably became Anita in 'West Side Story' because she was a Hispanic girl who had dignity, who had self respect, and who was strong." Moreno spoke at length about her star-studded (and hard working) journey through Hollywood to become the icon she is today at the 2021 virtual Sundance festival. Her story is captured by in a new documentary titled "Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It."
