Golden Globes winner Daniel Kaluuya was the first winner at the 2021 Golden Globes. The actor took home the gold for his role portraying the real life Fred Hampton "Judas and the Black Messiah," but his acceptance speech was muted. Backstage at the virtual press room the actor recounted the glitch but also explained the importance of telling Hampton's story, and what lessons there are to learn from his past.
