James Corden kicks off the night excited to share the show's drummer, Guillermo, is at the hospital with his wife who is delivering their first child. Taking his place at the drum kit is Late Late Show producer Kate Schellenbach, the original drummer of the Beastie Boys and member of Luscious Jackson.
