With director Simon McQuoid’s Mortal Kombat arriving in theaters and streaming on HBO Max this weekend, I recently spoke with Lewis Tan and Mehcad Brooks (Jax) about making the R-rated video game adaptation. During the interview, they talked about why they love Mileena and Scorpion’s fatalities, why Brooks’ “Friendship” would be a sound healing with the entire cast, who they think is the strongest character in the game and in the movie, and more.
