For four years, Donald Trump's exclusive, members-only club in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, stood in as the so-called "winter White House." Trump would spend numerous weekends at the resort during his presidency, and even conducted diplomacy there on many occasions.
Mar-a-Lago is, of course, not just a residence. It has nearly 500 paying members who reportedly shell out an initial $200,000 to join and then $14,000 per year in fees. Among the membership are executives, financiers, and real estate developers like Trump.
