Jamie Lynn Spears just gave a statement about her sister Britney Spears’s conservatorship. She made her statement on her Instagram story admitted she didn’t want to speak out until Britney did. Fans are split on Jamie’s response - with some not believing Jamie, and think she should’ve spoke out sooner. Prior to this, the LA Times had reported in 2020 that Jamie filed for more control over Britney’s financial assets and had served as the trustee of Britney’s estate for the past two years, but the filing did not clarify what role this would play in the legal battle over Britney's conservatorship.
