Hayden Panettiere has been seen spending time with ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson, months after he finished a jail sentence stemming from a domestic violence case involving her. After the two were spotted with a group in West Hollywood this past weekend, Hickerson told E! News that they were not back together but “working on a friendship,” saying in part, "We have a long history together, and the first step in my recovery as an abuser is making amends. That's exactly what Hayden has been gracious enough to allow me to do." Hickerson was arrested in July 2020 and pleaded no contest to two counts of injuring a spouse/cohabitant/girlfriend/child’s parent in April 2021, after which he spent 13 days in jail.
