I Suffered 65% Burns When I Was 1 | SHAKE MY BEAUTY

A WOMAN who suffered 65% burns in a childhood accident has taken to Instagram to show she's proud of her scars. Marina Bogdanova, from Massachusetts, was caught in a house fire a month before her 2nd birthday, leaving her with 65% burns across her body. Marina suffered incredibly severe injuries but is proud of her scars as they tell her story and made her the person she is today. On the day of the fire, Marina's Mom, Olga, came back to their house after visiting the shops and found their home engulfed in flames. Marina told Truly: "I was rushed to the hospital and spent two months in a coma. My Mom was told, 'She's still alive but we don't know if she'll survive until the morning". Marina has a truly remarkable outlook on life and wears her scars with pride, they tell her story and she has now taken to instagram to share her journey. She said: "Not everybody is comfortable with scars, and not everybody is comfortable with somebody different. I'm proud of them, it's a part of me, I don't feel I should hide it".
