Angelina Jolie is officially on Instagram and she’s using her platform to help women and children in Afghanistan. The Oscar winner joined the social media platform on August 20, 2021 and quickly amassed more than a million followers in less than an hour. In her inaugural post, she shared a powerful letter from an Afghan girl. “To spend so much time and money, to have blood shed and lives lost only to come to this, is a failure almost impossible to understand. Watching for decades how Afghan refugees...are treated like a burden is also sickening," Angelina wrote.
