Lance Bass is opening up to Access Hollywood about the “long struggle” he and husband, Michael Turchin, faced when trying to start their family. The couple began the process about 4 years ago and have faced many battles along the way, including having to find a new egg donor 9 different times and suffering the loss of their children when their surrogate had a miscarriage. “I think just in the last few years it’s not as taboo to talk about IVF and your struggles with having kids,” he said. Now they are set to welcome twins in the next few weeks and are currently working on the nursery. “Hopefully they don’t come too early, or we will not have a bedroom for them,” he joked. Lance shared the advice his fellow *NSYNC band members, who are also dads, gave him. “The number one thing I heard from all the guys, and everyone, is sleep, sleep, sleep whenever you can sleep just try because the first six months you’re just going to be so tired,” he revealed. Lance is currently the guest host for the ABC hit show “Bachelor in Paradise,” which he said, as a fan of the franchise, is a dream come true. “BIP” airs on ABC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c.
