Food Network is basically a star-making machine. If you become a host or a regular guest on one of the cable channel's extremely popular cooking shows, you're basically guaranteed to be a celebrity chef. The numbers don't lie: Food Network was the 14th-most-watched cable channel in 2016, according to Deadline, with more than 100 million viewers. And while the food is obviously important given that the network is named after it, the personalities of the hosts and the judges and contestants on the channel's numerous cooking competition shows really hold everything together.
