Lorde Reflects on Wielding Her Own Power to Support Efforts Against Climate Change

Lorde was recognized as an honoree at Variety‘s Power of Women event presented by Lifetime for her efforts on behalf of 350 Aotearoa, an organization “whose commitment to ending fossil fuel-driven projects back home is truly inspiring,” she commented. Highlighting the "golden microphone" of power and privilege she wields, the musician encouraged herself and others to use their voices to amplify those that often go unheard.
