A PLUS SIZE model is proudly embracing the large birthmark covering her back and torso. Isabella, 20, was born with a giant congenital nevus - a type of birthmark covered in hair follicles - spanning her body. In her younger years, she was self-conscious of the nevus - which grew as she did - often covering it up under baggy jumpers. But in time, she learned to love the skin she is in, and see the beauty in her uniqueness. In 2021, her confidence reached new heights when she began posting on TikTok, prompting one of her followers to suggest she apply to some modelling agencies. Now, after being signed to Tribe Talent Management, she has posed for shoots and walked the runway in fashion shows. She concluded: "Showing the world my body makes me extremely confident. Growing up, all I wanted was to look like everybody else - but now that I'm older, I am so, so grateful that I don't look like anybody else."
