The Super Bowl Broadcast Mistake People Can't Stop Cringing Over
Feb 14 2022
Live television can be wildly unpredictable, and no live event is quite as risky to produce as the annual Super Bowl, which has massive audiences watching and scrutinizing (and later posting about) every little production detail. Sometimes the giant spectacle goes horribly wrong, like the famous "wardrobe malfunction" incident involving Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, which nearly ruined Jackson's career. Other times, there are smaller-scale mistakes during the broadcast, like misidentifying two famous women of color, that make a huge impact. This is the Super Bowl LVI broadcast mistake people can't stop cringing over.
