AT BIRTH, Khloe Quintana was only able to move her eyes and was thought to be in a vegetative state. She was born with Spastic Cerebral Palsy; a condition which causes stiff muscles and in Khloe’s case means severely restricted movement on her right side. But the now-24-year-old has spent her life demonstrating how she isn’t defined by her condition; defying doctors’ expectations and embracing her passions – including becoming a makeup artist. Khloe, of Thousand Oaks, California, told Barcroft Studios: “I started from the bottom, I started from nothing, and here I am through hard work and perseverance, surrounding myself with the right people, and having a positive attitude. If you put in the hard work and the dedication, nobody can stop you.”
