Grammy Fans Weren't Expecting Trevor Noah's Will Smith Joke

The 2022 Academy Awards have long since passed. But the Slap heard around the world is still very much on the minds of fans and celebrities. This was no more apparent than at the 64th annual Grammy Awards. Everyone from comedians to well-respected actors had something to say, either with an off-handed quip or more explicit displays. Nate Bargatze even wore a large helmet on stage to present an award. But it was host Trevor Noah, of the “Daily Show,” that got the most attention. Though he kept the commentary on Will Smith’s behavior toward Chris Rock at a minimum, he couldn’t help but crack a joke or two at the “King Richard” star’s expense.
