The Real Reason Fixer Upper Homes Are So Hard To Sell
May 26 2022
The central concept of "Fixer Upper" and its follow-up series "Fixer Upper: Welcome Home" is that hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines have to fix up a house every episode. Specifically, they always renovate a home in their hometown of Waco, Texas. Understandably, a lot of those fixed-up homes end up on the market at some point.
What's surprising, though, is that a good number of the homes that have appeared on "Fixer Upper" have had pretty hard times finding buyers. What is it about these properties that possibly make them less appealing? This is the real reason "Fixer Upper" homes are so hard to sell.
