Dwyane Wade on His FEARS for Trans Daughter Zaya

Dwyane Wade was honored to be at the TIME 100 gala in honor of his friend, WNBA champion Candace Parker, who was named one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People of 2022. He opened up to ‘Extra’ about Parker, and also shared his concerns over his daughter Zaya. He shared his fears over the recent school shootings, explaining, ‘I have fears as every parent in the United States right now — we all should. I have a couple extra fears for my daughter now being trans and being Black in America.’
