Richard Engel Heartbreakingly Reveals 'Beloved' 6-Year-Old Son Henry Died

Richard Engel is sharing heartbreaking news about his son, Henry. The NBC News chief foreign correspondent announced on Thursday that his 6-year-old has died after a battle with Rett Syndrome. "Our beloved son Henry passed away. He had the softest blue eyes, an easy smile and a contagious giggle. We always surrounded him with love and he returned it, and so much more. Mary and Richard," he wrote on Twitter alongside a gut wrenchingly adorable photo of Henry.
