TopGear.com Awards 2022: The Greatest Cars Of The Year Crowned
Nov 30 2022
It’s that time of year again when we name the finest automobiles on planet earth and adorn them with a TG rosette. Yep, the votes have been counted, the arguments have simmered down and the results are in. Unsurprisingly, the class of ’22 is an absolute belter, with everything from single-seater fan cars to retro EV buses, and off-road supercars to trusty hot hatches.
We’ve never known a year where the innovation and bandwidth of the car industry has been on such dazzling display. As hybrids wedge firmly into the performance car space, EVs infiltrate everything and mature with both range going up and price coming down, design daring continues its rise and pure petrol cars rage against the dying of the light, we’ve been treated to a perfect of storm of new and interesting stuff.
Join us for a walkaround to explain who’s won what and why, including several never seen before clips and cameos from all three Top Gear telly presenters. Enjoy.
