Tyra Banks Departs as Host of 'Dancing with the Stars' After Three Seasons

Tyra Banks is leaving her role as host of "Dancing With the Stars" after three seasons to focus on her business and entrepreneurship ventures. The news was confirmed by various media outlets, and Tyra explained in a video that she wants to shift her focus from the dance floor to the stock market floor. ABC has yet to announce her replacement. Alfonso Ribeiro joined Tyra as a co-host for season 31 in July 2022, and the reality show moved to Disney+ that same year. Alfonso spoke highly of his years-long friendship with Tyra, but did not comment on her departure from the show.
