As Australia faced the brutal consequences of the global financial crisis, the company that owned some of Australia's most iconic brands - Pacific Brands - made a controversial decision - to shut down its Australian factories, sacked workers and handed their jobs to China. It was not surprising that the workers called the boss, Sue Morphet, a traitor, or worse. Sue Morphet stayed silent for a while. But she sat down with 60 Minutes to answer questions.
For over forty years, 60 Minutes have been telling Australians the world’s greatest stories. Tales that changed history, our nation and our lives. Reporters Liz Hayes, Tom Steinfort, Tara Brown, Nick McKenzie and Amelia Adams look past the headlines because there is always a bigger picture. Sundays are for 60 Minutes.
